The giberrish, 'Lorem ipsum', is the traditional dummy text used in publishing to demonstrate a font, or as a placeholder to show where text will go once it's been written.
It isn't actually Latin, but a bastardized version of a passage from Cicero's "De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum," written in 45 B.C. It translates to "There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain...."
