I am going to Connecticut to see my family in sept and we need to kennel our siberian. Is there anything I should watch for when chosing the right one (in terms of her being a sibe) beside the obvious fenced yard/dig proof, etc?

Is it possible for a husky (or any dog) to still get fleas even if they've been washed with flea shampoo and have had the monthly drops (Advantage) against fleas put on them?

Lately Laika has been scratching one spot one her stomach. She has a bald spot there and it has been getting bigger. There are no fleas there so we don't know why she has it. Should we take her to the vet?

Weird question:
How often can I give my sibe a rawhide bone?
She loves it, and chews on it for hours... but she does eventually finishes them. I've heard that the rawhide expands in their stomach and can cause problems... anyone know if this is true or not?

I was calling around to some apartment complexes yesterday because we're probably going to move. Now, we all know how apartments are great examples of breedism..."this is the list of dogs you can't have here...no dobies, Rotts, GSDs...blahblahblah."
