It is a beautiful, mild morning in metropolitan Nashvegas. Life is good. Liesl is happy. Sophie is sleeping. I'm off to my cubicle to flip some bits.

After two weeks of intense testing and scrutiny, I am happy to report that my pillow new meets expectations.

In related news, I discovered that I tend to sleep on my side with my shoulder actually ON the pillow - accounting for the heavy abuse suffered by the outer edges of my poor old pillow.

For the past few months, my pillow's softness has descended to the relative likeness of a railroad tie.

I can stand for it no longer.

Yesterday, our office building catered breakfast from Nashville's own Loveless Cafe. (Bethany and David, you guys drove right past the place on Natchez Trace.)

Biscuits, sausage gravy, fresh fruit, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, cheesy hashbrown casserole, hot coffee, and fresh fruit. I had seconds. It was a good day.
