3. I want one of those bacon-frying alarm clocks. I think that would provide the motivation needed to awake early.

I go with a simple “hokey” for Starship Troopers. Used to have a roommate who loved it for some inexplicable reason. He talked me into watching it with him once. Once was enough.

Oh, but, that said, I like adriveline as a term in general!

Is there plot? (I've heard mixed reports)

I recall there being some, yes. It's not plot-heavy, but it's not all mindless action either. Even so, in the main, the script and the acting were its downfall, so maybe it would've been better without any. :-P
