so what's happened? I made an offer on a house... and lost because another person bid $10 000 over the asking price. after about one year of looking we finally took the plunge but things turned out much sadder. our real estate agent isn't well because his granddaughter was killed in a car accident. she was only 2 yrs old. so house buying is on ( Read more... )

so i'm back. i think it wanted a break from computers as i work on one everyday from 9am - 5pm. but i miss the connections, chats and good times. yesterday was great. honestly, i needed a show like that. i'm always so stressed... is there enough people... will the bands get paid. i was just having a good time and i hope everyone else did. so i'm listening to mushaboom (Feist at the Junos) at work... it's quiet in the office since everyone's at mayfest (a large festival for Deaf people in the Toronto area). so much has happened since my last entry in the diary. on a sad note, my may show has been a bit of struggle, but i'm really liking the idea of no stress with having my close friends playing. we have so many people come upstairs during our shows and get turned away by the $5 cover charge. it's the day after the show. it was pretty good. some more difficult times because one band wanted ... pretty much everyone who came to see them on the "guest list". I'm also sure that they wanted to get paid, so those two do not add up. what people don't realize is that i'm not hired by the club so the door money is the money that pays them, ( Read more... )
