Maybe I missed a post somewhere, but you're thinking of buying it, is that right? Is that not then the answer to "why move at all?" - to be paying equity instead of rent?
It looks spacious to me, and I love all the built-in bookshelves too, but you're the best comparison judge between it and your place.
Sadly, the hardwood floors are damaged. I asked Kent to explain how damaged they are, and it's pretty bad. I guess they put plywood in in certain areas when they were damaged, there's paint over some parts of it too, and gouges out of the wood :(
I really didn't. But I'm not sure if part of that was the fact that it's my boss's home, and it's not even on the market, you know? Walking around the house felt a bit like an invasion of his privacy.
