I can't believe you've never done First Thursday. I used to go all the time when I worked near downtown.

I'm visiting Seattle right now and I went to first Thursday and saw cool stuff -- featherless chicken sculpture with bugs, chairs with carved wooden heads decorated with antlers sticking out of the backs, photos, paintings, hipsters!
Tonight (saturday) I'm going to the art walk in Georgetown. I get the bulk of my culture infusion when I'm traveling, but I guess that's better than never doing it at all.
