Y'all couldn't give me something easy?

For up-from-ashes: Five Things Ronon Refuses to Attempt:

1. Rodney looked at Ronon expectantly, and Ronon stared back.

"Look, McKay," Sheppard finally said. "He doesn't want to play, all right? Prime. 8,471."

2. "We usually have everybody try it," Sheppard said.

Ronon raised his eyebrows. "That an order?"

"No, of course not. Just thought it might be worth a shot."

The Lanteans were good people, but the way they played at being Ancestors . . . Ronon shook his head. "Anyone comes near me with a syringe I'll break their arm."

3. "Oh, come on," Rodney said, smiling. "He'll love it and it's so much better with two."

And that was the thing, he would love it, but Ronon just had to draw the line somewhere, and that was at dancing. Not even for Lucius.

4. "What do you have against cotton-poly blends, anyway?" McKay said. "A uniform's got to be more comfortable than, than that."

"Wears longer. Don't need to be comfortable, McKay," Ronon said. "I need to not be shot in the ass."

5. Ronon could have almost any woman on Atlantis. He knows this. It's still little comfort when he runs into Elizabeth outside the mess hall.

"Ronon," she says by way of greeting.

He nods hello, and moves on.

For cincodemaygirl, who is probably sorry she asked: Five Ways Sister Carrie Could Have Sucked Worse:
