[It was a good day so far, even Germany could admit that. His back was doing considerably well by that point, so it made dealing with Italy's excitement and perpetual cheerfulness a whole lot easier. But when they returned to the hotel for Italy to take his siesta, Germany did what Germany does best: sit down and get to work on his laptop that he brought with him.

There were emails galore from assistants and Angela, and even the President (who had decided to have a bit of a more hands-on relationship with the entity of their country). He was weeding through them, when he heard Italy stir... but he figured it was just Italy shifting about in his sleep, so he didn't bother to move from his desk... yet, as he screened through an email about his current deficits.]

[Italy gave a few stretches as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. Slowly, Italy got off of the bed and walked out of the bedroom, completely forgetting to put on any sort of clothing or even covering up in the slightest bit. It was just Germany anyways and it's not like there was anything that Italy had that Germany didn't.]

Uwahh... Germany? I'm awake now...

[Germany stopped then, clicking out of the email system he was in. While Italy couldn't really read German, he had a functional understanding. And while no country was doing that well, Germany still felt as though the information once on the screen should be kept to himself. Resting his chin on his hand, he offered Italy one of those very small, kind glances that fringed on a smile.]

Welcome back. Did you rest well?

Yes!

[Italy made his way behind Germany and rested his head against his shoulder. Even though he was awake his brain was still kind of foggy and Italy found himself yawning quite a bit.]

So what were you doing while I was sleeping?
