I went to the chantey sing at the Balcutha last night. Chantey sing = a bunch of people singing sea chanties. Balcutha = huge, beautiful, awe-inspiring fully-rigged ship. Life has been . . . good. Relaxing, but with the guilt of not doing enough. I've been hiking in Sycamore and La Jolla canyons off Highway 1 and it's been incredible. The fact that I can't find words to describe the insanely beautiful views that surrounded me is probably proof I'll never make it as a travel writer. Lets just say it made me happy ( Read more... )
