What's a really pretty, sad(?), but uplifting song?
And, Amazing Grace is not an option, you saps.

It's for a funeral/memorial,
for a girl to sing,
accompanied by piano or guitar.

[And Thanks to anyone who has any ideas. :) ]

the circle game is a sad song..i guess its kind of pretty..but its a strange song. i dunno if it would work for a funeral but it might..people usually sing it at like bar and bat mitzvah's

Heh, well it would work more if you were in love with the person who died, but Des'ree - "Kissing You" sounds very bittersweet; Aimee Mann - "Save Me"; Fiona Apple - "I Know"; Celiene Dion or Dido, if you're a sap, or to sap on the extra sappiness, Mariah Carey - "One Sweet Day" (oh em gee and it's even about death!), pretty much anything Tori Amos...

I'm guessing if you slur the words enough so that the crowd doesn't know what it's about, the concept of the song won't matter... :)

slur the words.
haha i think it would be weird to sing jibberish,

or have them think i'm drunk

Peter Murphy - "I'll Fall With Your Knife"
Goo Goo Dolls - "Name" or "Iris"
Billy Joel - "And So It Goes"
Sarah McLachlan - "I Will Remember You" or "Angel" or "Full of Grace"
Eric Clapton - "Tears in Heaven" (a bit cliché, but lovely)
Joni Mitchell - "Blue"
The Seat Belts - "Adieu"

Wouldnt you rether have a more unique name, like Hillary B/C of Hillary Clinton rather than stupid poser Hilary Duffe or However youe spell that poser ho's last name.

Hillary Clinton is far more smart and uniqyeeee
So, therefore it's a compliment for someone to spell your name with two LL's.

Hilary is most commonly spelled with two L's actually.

So, one L is more "unique".

and neither Hillary nor Hilary are unique names.
