So a coworker called my clients house tonight as i was helping her put on her pj's and informed us that he will probably not be coming in tomorrow as he is ill, and wanted to know if i could take his shift. That's incredible. And basically unacceptable. I expect that your company logs hours and you'll be making overtime, riiiiiiiiight?

Negatory, sir. They receive a small bit of funding from the state and therefore are not required to pay overtime. So they don't.
