When I go out to take photos I am more on a scavenger hunt than I am anything else. This day was to be a treat that I will treasure. I was out at Eisenhower State Park which is about 12 miles away from where I live on a search for new pictures to add to my portfolio. How pretty! Look at those beautiful eyes. I'm jealous. I miss living where it's green, and you can get out in the country, and see stuff like this, just by driving a few miles. I HATE living in a huge, hot, drab city, in the middle of the desert. It was 116 today (July4).

this exact same thing happened to my boyfriend & I last year! We went to the park to take flower/nature pictures, and ran into a deer (a young male, I believe) - who then stood there some 10-15 minutes while my boyfriend went to get the perfect shot - like he was flattered to be the subject of all this attention (he took some 200 pictures of the little guy!) :)
