pre-Thanksgiving food report

I made a test batch of cranberry-pumpkin bread (original recipe here) last night for a potluck at work today. I'm glad I did. I didn't have cornmeal, so I just replaced it with more regular flour. The orange zest was a bit pithy, which I think was due to me picking thin-skinned oranges and my inelegant, overzealous zesting on the tiny-holded side

I'll be in Imlay City, which is about half-way due east between Flint and Canada/Lake Huron. I'll be in Bad Axe for Black Friday, because my mom and her sisters love trekking out there to shop, for some unknown reason.
