Upon reflection, I enjoyed last night, but I prefer my usual lower-key activities. Hanging out in Liz and Charles' basement watching movies or sports. I made candied orange peels tonight. They turned out okay for a first attempt, although I think I should have blanched them one more time, because they have a bite to them like eating fresh ginger or orange zest straight up.
