I realize that a few details- like Sinzi's presence in the story- are compelte bullshit. I realize that I lied when I said we didn't drink/smoke with the actors (even mentioning pot was dangerous, I think). And I realize that we didn't have a DP, a set designer, or three gaffers- but we were supposed to have a DP and a set designer, and we did have one gaffer (it was her house, actually).

Anyone who prefers a more conservative definition of "dramatize" can go fuck themselves.

ahhh thanks!

this was the "dramatic essay," and it was part of the creative portfolio (the other two parts were resume/script). it's not the normal 400-500 word limit; NYU wanted 4 pages.

thanks again for the most amazing summer of my life, by the way (it wouldn't have been the same without you. no, i take that back, it would have been shit without you.)

this essay was worth swallowing my pride and signing back onto live journal. seriously.

if you write that well you can exaggerate it all you want.

i'm afraid to say more because it will end up using the word "good" and that would sell it short.

oh how I've missed that 100x100 square

thank you kindly; I always second guess my writing, so I wasn't really sure if it was decent or not (and of course the day I mailed it I started freaking out about the content, started thinking of other experiences I could have used instead, etc)

good luck on your EAs, tell me how that goes :)
