Spent a good amount of time this christmas with babies. My baby nephew, Art's brand new nephew, family friends' kids and my own high school friend's kid. Most were adorable and entertaining. Our dear friend and brother, Lou Genise peacefully transitioned early this morning at around 3:23am on Friday February 13, 2009 at his residence in Echo Park, CA. Lou was surrounded by his family and very close friends who were there to support and love him in his last hours while in his earthly vessel ( Read more... ) -

I really do miss my piano. I forget how familiar it is under my fingers.
Melodies and chords are still memorized by my fingers though I don't get valuable time on a real set of keys more than once a year if not less.

I'm too old lady to handle rock n roll lifestyle. However it's a nice change from my hermit living the last couple weeks due to cough and slowing of work because of holidays.
Feels like I've released some tension I was holding onto and didn't realize until my moments of complete calm and satisfaction recently.
