Keaton Remembered

Has anyone seen Buster Keaton Remembered, the giant book that came out a few years ago? It's out of print now, and of course, my library doesn't have it, but I hear it's chock full of pictures. I just was wondering if it's just as wonderful as it sounds. Maybe some day I can afford to buy it used or luck out and find it at a book sale. I can always

It's a gorgeous book and a beautiful tribute by Eleanor. Another one to keep an eye out for is "The Look of Buster Keaton" by Robert Benayoun.

Until your post I hadn't realized how much "Keaton Remembered" is going for. On AbeBooks it's anywhere from $128 to $1450. That's insane. The other book I mentioned used to go for a lot more but I found it there going anywhere from $16 to $250, which is still pricey but much more reasonable.

Best of luck in your search!

Thanks! I've checked out "The Look of Buster Keaton" from my library and it was such a great collection of photos. I wish I could get that one too! Why there aren't more picture books about Keaton, I don't know.

Agreed! If you can score it for a reasonable price, it's a lovely book.
