LOCATIONS (NORTH)
CENTRAL & SOUTH CENTRAL SILENT HILL
Alchemilla Hospital
A stark, clean hospital during the day, Alchemilla holds three levels with thirteen patient rooms, an intensive care unit, and one operating room. The hospital is small, but formidable at night, when it mysteriously gains a fourth floor and becomes host to the monsters of nurses and doctors who worked here before, wielding knives and scalpels and hoping to perform special surgery on you. Adventurous ones will find that the hospital store rooms unlock at night, giving access to medical supplies you may desperately need.

Basement 1st Floor 2nd Floor 3rd Floor Artaud Theatre
A large, fancy theatre with red, plush seating, balconies, and opera boxes. The area backstage is rather large, but not quite worth exploring unless makeup and costumes are your thing. Living puppets haunt the halls at night, much worse than they sound.

1st + 2nd Floors Green Lion Antiques
A small antique shop. The door opens out from Simmons St., and leads down a flight of stairs to the store below. Unlike most antique shops, the store looks a little more like a storage garage, not quaint or charming in the slightest. The walls are concrete, and various tattered rugs cover the matching floor. A large oak wardrobe sits against the back wall, covering up a whole in the wall large enough for a person to duck into the connecting hidden hallway beyond. If one continues far enough, it becomes clear that the antique shop is a front for a small cult shrine, used for ceremonies, although it has not been used for some time.

1 2 3 Green Pharmacy
A very small pharmacy, filled with medicines, bandages, and other first-aid care supplies. All the good stuff's behind a counter, protected under lock and key.

1 Riverside Motel
A real "classy", by-the-hour kind of place. The Riverside Motel is a run-down sort of place trying to disguise itself as a resort motel. It has an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and even an arcade. The rooms themselves are cramped and ugly but livable and comfortable to those who can forgive style. At night, the motel is transformed into anything but comfortable, however.
The special-named suites are individually decorated to be especially offensive to the senses, some even having heart-shaped, vibrating beds.
Room 500 is sealed - locked tight and covered in police tape proclaiming "DO NOT CROSS". Even at night, this room cannot be accessed.

Ground Level 2nd Floor Shady Grove Sanitarium
A hospital home for those not expected to get well, either mentally or physically. The male and female ward are on separate sides of the building, and the entire complex is connected with a vast underground tunnel system that was once used by staff. Even during the day, the spirits of those who were subjected to torturous "therapy" sessions haunt the halls.

Basement 1st Floor 2nd Floor OLD SILENT HILL
Algernon Books
A small book store filled with old, rare copies of books. Here, you'll find everything from fiction to non-fiction, along with a curious section filled with occult "lore", detailing the story of The Order's Gods. There seems to be a large section for supernatural and psychology. The store has been abandoned for quite some time, and a thin layer of dust covers the books that have not been touched in some time.
The bookstore is inaccessible at night.

1 2 3 Balkan Church
A very small Christian church. It is comprised of three rooms. The main room, accessed by a set of double doors that lead out to Bloch St., is the chapel. It has two columns of wooden pews, with six rows. The front of the room has a modest pulpit with a large wooden cross on the back wall. Behind the pews sits two tables holding collection boxes (they're empty, so don't get any ideas). To the right is a locked door leading to a pastor's office. The left holds a small storage room, also behind a locked door.
The church can be accessed at night, and it provides sanctuary from the monsters found within Silent Hill.

Cafe 5 to 2
A very small cafe or diner. The wall holding the main entrance is comprised of large glass windows. Blinds can be drawn, but they'll do little to protect one from the monsters outside. The cafe has four tables, booths on one side and chairs on the other, and a counter with standard bar seating directly behind the tables. On one side, an aged pinball machine that only works sometimes sits. Various strange posters plaster the walls. Behind the counter, there is a kitchen stocked with food. During the day, you'll be able to find things to eat and might even be lucky enough to get the stoves to work, but at night, all the food will be rotten and covered with mold.

1 2 3 4 Midwich Elementary School
A small, two-story elementary school with an outside courtyard in the middle of the school. There is a small library, a chemistry lab, a few classrooms, and a teacher's lounge. There is also a music room complete with a grand piano. During the day, the school is dark and empty, but at night, the building turns as all buildings do and becomes a breeding ground for small, almost child-like monsters.

1st Floor 2nd Floor Suburban Development
Houses run down Levin Street. These houses have all been abandoned, and it may be good sources for finding supplies, though the street is swimming with dog monsters that used to be family pets.

1 2 SILENT HILL RESORT AREA
For more information regarding the area around Annie's Bar, the Indian Runner, Motel Haerbury Inn, etc., please see
this post. This covers
this section of the map in its entirety.
Annie's Bar
A small bar. There are two pool tables in a side room. The bar itself is well-stocked and easily accessible, making it a good place for spending time, day or night.
Reference Images:
1 2 Indian Runner Convenience Store
Very similar to a 7-11, this convenience store is stocked full of less-than-healthy snacks. Similar to the Cafe, the food will be fine during the day, but steer clear of eating in this fine establishment come nighttime.

1 2 Lakeside Amusement Park
Note: This area can only be accessed at night. During the day, the gates are closed and unscalable.
A general amusement park. The floors are metal grating, walls are stained or crumbled, and the attractions have been twisted and changed. Lakeside Amusement Park features a rollercoaster, a carousel, a haunted house (detailed in image #3), a fortune teller's shop (detailed in image #4), and many other strange attractions.

1 2 3 4 Lakeview Hotel
A rather large, fancy hotel. There are three floors. The hotel holds suites that have been used in honeymoons, a small restaurant, a bar, and a lounge with a beautiful music box that plays
this melody. During the day, the hotel holds a quiet, almost serene stillness and beauty. It looks to be in a bit of disrepair -- in some places you can see wallpaper peeling, or weak floorboards, or the usual layer of dust, but the feeling of fond memories that fill the place keep it beautiful. At night, however, the hotel changes -- and not in the same way the rest of the buildings around Silent Hill do. The walls look scorched and burned, and the building seems as if it's moments from falling apart. Water from the overhead sprinklers has soaked through everything, even flooding the basement, including the bar. It's almost as if the building was nearly burned down, but the fire itself is never seen.
The Lakeview Hotel is where all characters are given a room, sometimes together, by the Order, although they are not forced to stay there. Regardless of the small amount of rooms, room 312 is sealed, completely locked even at night.

Basement 1st Floor 2nd Floor 3rd Floor The Order Church
A beautiful chapel decorated with many paintings and stained glass showing scenes from occult lore. It is modeled like a normal chapel, complete with wooden pews and a pulpit. There is even a piano at the front of the room. The back of the church is completely off-limits to "outsiders", but it houses a somewhat convoluted twist of hallways where the Order members live in very simple, humble rooms.

1 The Order Complex
You don't want to find yourself here.
The Complex is a confusing underground base of rooms, gates, and hallways. The rooms are small and outfitted for torture. As the location is unknown, characters cannot find themselves here unless they have been brought here by the Order themselves.
