Welcome, Welcome, you are fairly met dirtyzebra2005 August 30 2007, 20:58:44 UTC
Firstly, you are NOT allowed to steal two of my Law Schools. Wisconsin and Michigan are all mine, pick some of your own. So BLEH! Secondly, law school? really? Not that it's a bad thing following in my footsteps, but I never saw you as a lawyer. But hey, whatever works. Lastly, remember when I told you that life after the big "C" was nothing but uncertainty pudding, well I hope you like bananas. Truthfully, no matter what, you've got support (at least from me) in whatever path life chooses to lead you down. If I don't see you at Animefest, I suppose I'll see you in court counselor. :)

LOL Too bad sister, Michigan is mine! ...If I can get in :-P Both Wisconsin and Michigan (espically Michigan) have very good International/Japanese law programs. So I think I get dibs on that ^_^ Well the reason law school comes up is after working in film for a year...well Im not sure its what I want to do with the rest of my life, actually Im pretty sure its not. I love being creative and my working conditions, etc, but I just dont feel like what I do makes any difference in the world. That may sound harsh, but its how I feel. I want a career where I feel like Im changing things, I guess. Working with the State Department or even a large company, building ties with a country I like and my home seems like a worthwhile job to me.
Plus chicks dig lawyers :)
And since I plan to be involved with trade and entertainment law between Japan and the US, I doubt we'd ever meet in a courtroom :-) You can be the big bad trail lawyer, Ill be the one buried in a library. :-D

Ha ha, you make all the difference to me :) Anime is my soap opera. I watch it in the afternoons when Liam takes a nap! Hee hee! Actually, most of the anime I watch is soap opera-esq, but it's animated and Japanese so I feel justified in my addiction! Now I am re-watching Hana yori dango and watching for the first time Kaleido star. Also re-watching Hikaru no go. Anyways, I get what you mean about not making a meaningful contribution, but the most meaningful one in this day and age I think is to make your own living doing what you enjoy, then giving back in a way you also enjoy, through volunteering your time or money. Good luck!

Thanks :) I do apperciate it, but this confusion is also why I want to take a couple of years in Japan, get my head straight and figure out what I really want, but it does help to know my line of work does help people, in its own way.
How is little Liam doin, by the way?
Also, on the anime note, you should watch Lovely Complex (romantic, soap-opera comedy) and Death Note (same guy who does Hikaru No Go, but much darker)
