I have 5 weddings to attend this year, though some of them have been pretty casual. :) Add in work xmas parties, and birthday dinners, and just getting gussied up in general, cris has lots of excuses to wear neat ties and we've had a few discussions about my dress choices. :)
"look at me. look black at your man. now black to me. your goth isn't me, but he's probably wearing black like me. i'm the goth your goth could goth like.
Depends on the outfit, and if the suit and shirt are sufficiently different. If it's much more than tie + outfit 2 then it's definitely getting into matchy matchy territory...
I was thinking: black suit, white shirt, coloured tie, something like this but with a jacket. Though I've been buying cris some nice non-white shirts lately I tend to go with black when he's wearing them. :)
Actually, I think that, while perfectly nice, that look would be improved by Cris wearing a colored shirt. Something subtle like a fairly saturated medium gray perhaps? Even a black shirt would work.
Depends on how it's done, but generally I think "too matchy matchy". However, it hasn't stopped me from choosing a red and black gown when I know J is going to wear his red and black dragon vest.
