"Eli? Man, where have you been? I was getting worried." Ben, his roommate, told him and then eyed the woman standing behind him and staring at him. They had been roommates for like years, and Ben had never before been worried when his friend was dragged away by a hot woman but something hadn't been right about her. Something totally off.

"Nowhere special. And no need to worry. I'm just here to get a few things." Eli told his friend with the gingery hair. He wasn't sure if it was an actual word or anything, but he used it to describe Ben's hair because it was like almost ginger, but not one hundred percent. Maybe he was misusing the word but eh, what the heck. Plus, heh, it reminded him of the 10th Doctor from Doctor Who, not that he would ever ever admit to watching that show.

"You've been staying with her since she dragged you out of the store days ago, and what do you mean your just here to pick up a few things?" Ben asked him, while he followed Eli to his bedroom and he didn't even notice how Renée stepped into the apartment and frowned at the cramped, quite untidy hall-slash-living room. But what had she been expecting? they were two straight (as far she knows) guys, off course it was gonna be a mess.

"Yeah. So what?" Eli asked him, as he asked him while he opened his suitcase that had been on his bed untouched since he came back from his vacation with his now-ex. Just thrown there and left to it's own devices.

"Well, isn't it a little soon. What about Liza? I know... you two broke up, but that was only a few days ago." Ben asked him, as Eli found a cell in his suitcase and looked up at him with one eyebrow raised. He doesn't do the raised eyebrow thing very well, but he still does it from time to time.

"What is your cellphone doing in my suitcase?" Eli asked Ben, and completely ignoring the other man's question. Really she had wanted the breakup. When they went away together he had fully intended to propose to her but things went a diffrent way. Very diffrent. Vacation from hell.

"I don't know how to turn down the sound so I stuffed it there to muffle it." Ben told him, all whispery and embarrassed. He was a bit technophobic. Lets not even getting into why he wouldn't just shut it off or answer it every time it rang.

"Heh. Your one of a kind. Here. I don't know when I'll be back, so maybe you should look for a new roommate." Eli told him, as he closed his suitcase (barely) and handed him his cell.

"Wait, what? Your moving in with her or something? Seriously, don't do this. It's way too soon." Ben told him, as he followed him into the living room where Renée still stood with her hands buried in the front pockets of her red & black plaid printed coat with it's black skull shaped buttons.

Ben had to say that even though he thought what Eli was doing was mad he could have done worse with who to do the whole rebound thing with. Her sense of dress seemed a bit weird. With her whole outfit which seemed to remind him more of a teen than anything. But she didn't look like a teen, or Ben would be even more worried for his friend.

"He's staying with me and that is final. Don't butt into things you don't understand." She told him, and while he looked into her eyes a part of him just wanted to say 'Okay' and be done with it, but no, he couldn't do that. Something fishy was going on here. While he fought that Eli and Renée had opened the door to the hallway and were on their way out when he snapped out of it.

"Wait!" Ben called after them, and ran out after them. He caught Eli's left wrist and pulled on it, which turned out to be the worst idea ever. Because Eli reacted... badly, to say the least. He dropped his suitcase, which sprung open, and slammed Ben into the hallway wall.

His eyes are freaking scary and wild. But it's like Ben is frozen and he can't even move his little finger. He wished he could move his little finger. He doesn't even know what hit him when Eli bit down on his shoulder, through his T-Shirt and all. Oh, there's blood. He broke the skin, lapping it up like... something until Ben feels him ripped away and oww, it hurts.

"Eli! We are going to be in so much trouble and you said you'd behave. You totally broke your promise. God! Let's get out of here before he feels better. Don't worry, he'll be fi... Ah, shit. Lick the wound." Renée told him, as she pushed him towards his friend who was slumped against the wall.

"Dude, I'm so sorry. I was just annoyed and hungry. You shouldn't have done that. Really, I'm so so sorry." Eli murmured to Ben, before he moved the T-Shirt away from the bite and licked the two puncture wounds.

God, he hoped no one walked in while this was going on. What the hell would they think was going on. Eli licking a worse for the wear Ben, and Renée standing a while away with a little smile on her face with a hint of annoyance. He was still hungry, since he had issues with the re-heated blood and so he licked all the left over blood of Ben's shoulder while wishing there was more.

"That's totally good enough. let's go. he won't get critical now. Mostly I bet shock. Let's get out of here, you picky troublemaker." Renée told him, while she reached down and closed his suitcase again.

He hoisted Ben up to his full height and patted his other shoulder before walking over to Renée and grabbing his suitcase. He only looked back once, to Ben who was still standing in the same place as before, and then following Renée down the stairs and went to do God knows what.
