I took Julian to the doctor yesterday to get his eyes checked out. Sometimes, we sit in darkened rooms and I smoke a cigarette and I feel like she's recording me for a Rolling Stones interview while we talk. As my mouth shapes the words, the smoke comes billowing out in rhythm.
