But seriously, feel better! Cough drops are your friend, as is osha root extract. Tastes absolutely foul, but works wonders on respiratory things.

One complains the next morning about loud parties.
One Inquiries, IN HONEST CONCERN, about the health of one's neighbor. One does not drop unsubtle snippy hints.
Does she think you love to stay awake all night coughing for fun? Grr.
Ok, rant over. Peppermint tea, and seriously, slug down the liquids--I think if I had stayed on the liquids steadily through Thursday night and Friday morning, I would have done a bit better. Good for the lungs and throat. Robbitusin DM. Bag 'o cough drops in the purse or backpack. DayQuil caplets.
Your mom and I get on so well--I don't even talk to her: I just channel her directly!

I'm also sort of curious how she knows you haven't had it looked at. Since, in my experience, a doctor visit seldom makes coughs magically vanish.

Also mom's usual remedy is sleep. Really sucked when I was too sick to go to school since she figured that if I was too sick to go to school I was too sick to watch tv, read, see friends...basically do anything other than sleep and eat. Hence me occasionally pretending that I'm not really all that sick, honestly, I swear :)
