So music is slowly taking over my life.  I'm getting back into the habit of practicing violin everyday, and actually practicing.  Not just going over a few songs until I get bored and then stop, but actually trying to polish the pieces I already can limp my way through and learn new songs.  Most of my stuff admittednly is out of the Alameda Ceilidh

Great essay. And good lyrics are poetry--you just like your poetry with orchestration.

Probably more like need poetry with orchestration. For some reason abstract or vague ideas put to music I'm fine with, just in plain written form I find it boring as hell.

Overall for both I really like a story line :)

Or occasionally learned them by ear from someone not Masterfiddler, so he looks at me funny and tries to figure out what the hell I just did.
