This was ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!!! Christ, How refreshing to have Merlin REALLY being a bamf-warlock. I wish wish wish that Merlin in the canon-series will end up being this Cool!! This story is exactly what I needed this weekend to unwind and relax and I've enjoyed it Immensely. Thank You SO MUCH :-)

He is a BAMF, right? *pets muse* I always thought that Merlin has a streak of darkness inside, and being alone for so long would let that bloom a bit. Thankfully Arthur will keep an eye on that from now on. :DD

This was such a rollercoaster read. Amazing, but the way it's presented is both challenging and heart wrenching. I love how everything is revealed slowly and peeled back and the concept that reincarnation has messed with the characters' lives and thoughts is one that I've always wanted to see and you did well with this.

Loved this one. I loved how guilt-ridden Merlin was but he still kept going. Loved the backstory about how Merlin got trapped in the cave. Loved how Arthur was so devastated by his background and his visions. Just wonderful.

What an awesomely refreshing take on the M/A reincarnation genre.
In conclusion, this fic is ♥ and goes straight to my fave folder so as to be re-read many, many a time in the future. Bravos!

I really loved the way you dealt with reincarnation in this. The thought of modern!Arthur being hit by canon!Arthur's memories of betrayal and death is horrible and then what he went through being thought insane was just so painful, but utterly believable and real. I loved your bad-ass Merlin too, determined to protect Arthur at all costs but unable to believe that he loved him. Both characters just stepped right off the page in darker versions than we sometimes see them, but totally convincing. Really fantastic read. Many thanks for sharing.

Thank you so very, very much. I played with this idea for a while, and when the Big Bang sign-ups came around, I jumped on the bandwagon because I knew otherwise I wouldn't have written it. I'm glad I did. :)
