I take the advice of others too literally. I really do have a strong sense of self and strong instincts but think that others know better when they're trying to steer me indirections I don't want to go in. It's not like I woke up one day and decided to become so uncertain, it just happened over time.

i've realized that if i want to get the things that i want later on in life, i'm really going to have to buckle down. it's hard for me, i get distracted very easily. i don't really have very much of an excuse when you think of it. i don 't have a job, i live within walking distance of my campus. I guess it's all in my head, but I feel unloved. I mean I know that people around me love me. They tell me so. I just can't feel it right now, though. I am lonely and isolated because I am socially inept. Inept is an exaggeration and a harsh word. I don't do outlandish things, normally. Nevertheless, I'm not a natural at conversation.
