Now I understand why my psych patients do what they do and how they feel when they say that Hawaii is hard because the time difference when trying to call home.

Med school is killing me
Yes, med school is killing me. I don't sleep, I don't go to the gym anymore, I sit at a desk all day with a book, and I've eaten nothing today except coffee, baked lays, ice-cream, and chocolate covered pretzels. I had to buy a 20 pack of sparkly pencil grips because my finger hurt so bad from making flashcards for pathology. My poor dogs are also ( Read more... ) -

My school has some of the dumbest fucking scheduling and curriculum organization. Searching for Symbols
I have a terrible habit of searching for meaning in silly ordinary things. If I see a connection, I can't stop thinking about it. I can't let go of idea that this symbol won't stay on. It feels lose and keeps wanting to fall off. It wasn't even a gift but was purchased by myself as a place holder, meant to be discarded and not missed if lost ( Read more... ) -
Status report
I'm drowning. School is friggin' killing me, literally. I haven't had time to work out because of the flood of school work so I've been definitely gaining weight and my arteries are clogging which will lead to my ultimate death by coronary artery disease. In my first week of the 2nd year of medical school and I'm already finding myself struggling for time. I've been unable to figure out a way to manage school life and maintain more than one relationship at a time.
