color dilemma - please help!

Currently my entire kitchen is in disarray, and to help get it back to normal we need to pick a paint color.
Here is a picture of our kitchen before we moved into the house (all those random things on the counters are not ours).

I vote fore either yellow or a lighter green. I would want to keep that center area brightest because it's a cool focal point. Before you talked about any other options, I was thinking yellow, but a lighter green could be cool, too - keeping it connected to the rest of the house, but still letting the other wall be more dominant.

And I want to see more house pictures! It looks great from what I can see!

thanks for the suggestions. I was leaning yellow as well, but we need to see how the cabinents turn out before that can be finalized (in case they are still to yellow-y).

I hope to have more pics up after the kitchen is finished.

I think lighter green. maybe yellow. if you get the same color as the accent wall, that may be over doing it. but i like your house. mainly i'm replying to say that the green stairs are awesome.

I'm glad you like the stairs! They go all the way to the finished attic and took a long time to do.
