I am very happy with Rochester as it has about everything I want out of a city - museums, great parks, good ethnic restaurants (lacking Mexican, though), amazing farmer's markets, close proximity to hiking locations, vibrant ultimate frisbee scene, and affordable housing. Yesterday I exploded my hot/cold pack in the microwave. I had intended to nuke it for a minute and when I came back several minutes later the microwave was still running and the blue goo was all over. MONDAY: Got into town and met up with Chad Wilcox for dinner at an amazing thai place in Arlington. Usually I have problems with thai food not being spicy enough for me, but this place was awesome. Today was the last day of classes for the year. I still have exams next week, but at least the lectures are over. I also have to stay until the 19th for lab work, and then I get 10 days off (woo hoo!).
