Back from Mexico.... and I had a wonderful time. I am glad I got to take a little time off relaxing. Now at work and home I have to play catch up from the whole trip.

Totally worth it though!

Even the 20+ mosquito bites aren't phasing me! :)

So I planned a trip to LA this weekend, I am visiting a vendor on Friday then decided to stay the weekend since one of my best friends lives out there.

We were talking about it last night and wanted to go to Comic con cause it is the same weekend. Unfortunately it looks like there are no more memberships :(

I got a membership!!!! Sweet!

I am so going to geek out.

I love birthdays.

After going over to a friends house, we went and sang karaoke at Austin Karaoke. I really can't sing, but is that really singing or it is just yelling at the top of your lungs?

Fun times.

So the AC is out at the house. I am waiting for the ac guy to come and rescue me from the 85 degree house.

Fun.

In other news I got the email from the factlist saying they need goodies for the Nebulas this weekend. I am drawing a blank as to what to make. Any suggestions?

Well I am back from Scotland. I am really enjoying all the home comforts, the snuggling of kitties, and the being able to change the channel if I don't want to watch what is on the tv ( Read more... )

So I was at Specs the other day and decided to splurge.... I have been admiring truffle oil for quite some time now at all the fancy grocery stores in town. I got some and tried it out. Oh my gawd I am in love! :)

I made roasted red potatoes in the oven then tossed them with a small amount of truffle oil. Delicious!

So our work has had a number of bake sales recently for charitable purposes. Me being the crafty one, I decided I didn't want to make baked goods (and frankly I feel guilty about eating all that sugary goodness...) but I wanted to make something for the bake sale, so I crafted. (suprise suprise I know)
