Aside from that, if I were Danny I'd make Steve taking some kind of *official* course in police procedures a condition of return. Steve needs to have actual knowledge and practice in obeying the fucking law, not just relying on Danny & Chin more respectfully.

Way to keep us hanging! Danny has to survive though, he and Steve really need to have this out! I love Kono here, the way she's keeping in touch with Danny and being there for him. This is going to be a real scare for Steve though!

I love this story, I'm glad you're doing 5 chapters of it! I thought Danny was very honest and great, in this. Kono was wonderful, too. hope all ends well (but I love the angst to get there!)

I'm glad to hear you liked Danny's thoughts, I was a bit worried it might be too much introspection in the beginning. But I do like happy endings, so you can maybe guess how it's going to end. :D
