This was AWESOME!!! The Danny/Kono interaction was perfect, and Danny left alone with his thoughts, especially the way he is wearing his clothing now, was spot on. Yeah, we know Steve is a total basket case without his partner there, and then we have a cliffhanger ending, and that is just what Danny would be thinking too. Looking forward to more and thanks for sharing it.

I like getting Danny's POV and I can understand his feeling as though Steve doesn't value him or his work experience. And good for Kono for encouraging him to talk to Steve and good for Steve for working so hard to learn proper law enforcement procedure.

But now Danny's shot! I'm sure that Steve will be one of the first people at his side.

love this second part. I really enjoyed the time Danny shared with Kono, the talk they had and the kidding around. Oh no now Danny is shot, what a cliffie, I hope they are fast before he bleeds out. He's going to lose a lot of blood..need more.
