Kind of scary how Salvo would do that for Danny. His heart's in the right place, I guess, but still scary.

I do think Salvo's a really scary person, but that Danny doesn't see all of it. I really don't want to know what he would've done to keep Rachel in Jersey...

I liked Danny's realizing that he was being unfair to Rachel by hiding his true self from her but he was also angry at her for forcing him to move to Hawaii.

And next chapter should have the fateful Danny and Steve first meeting--YEAH!! :)

Thank you! :D I think at some point Danny had to realise that keeping such a huge part of himself from Rachel couldn't end well. Of course it's not okay that Rachel just took Grace and left, but he's not blameless in all of this.

As for the first meeting, despite the changes I made it would've happened pretty much as it did in the show which I didn't want to re-write. So I'll be jumping right in. :)
