Well, I survived having my wisdom teeth removed (all 4 and all impacted). I look and feel like a drugged chipmunk, but the swelling is finally starting to go down a bit. Thank god I have a high tolerance for pain. I can get by with a few advil a day instead of the vicodin; that stuff knocks me out for about six hours. I can live without the ( Read more... )

Ben and I have been married for two years as of today. Yays!

Has anyone seen my Spamalot CD? I found the case, but I can't find the CD. I also can't remember if I let anyone borrow it. If anyone has a copy that they burned from my original, can I borrow it? I want to put some songs on my ipod.

So much for me taking the summer off. I gave in, and signed up for a summer course to go towards my Masters. I swear, I would probably have dropped dead this summer if I didn't do something to keep myself occupied other than adapting lesson plans and writing the "next great American novel." Things have been pretty much hectic lately with only a few more weeks of school left. I haven't been able to play DDR since Post Prom. I have to get final exams finished and study guides and finish prepping for the last few weeks. So much to get in, but so little time to do it. Erg. One more week would help so much. I am so tired of rain. Our neighborhood flooded yesterday due to it. In addition to some of the neighborhood being flooded, the sewer backed up into everyones' basement (including ours). At least we were lucky. We only had about 2-5 inches of water in our basement. Some of our neighbors had almost a foot or more or water and other gunk. Ben ( Read more... )

This year's birthday was alright. Ben took me out to Japanese Gardens on Saturday, and his parents made dinner for me on Sunday. His mom made a Dr. Pepper cake.
