Last night, yobanashi mistakenly introduced me to the 2009 taiga drama, Tenchijin.

I am fairly sure she regretted it but, guys, this drama is amazing.

If only for Mitsunari.

Funny you should post this up. I just got hold of the first episode of Tenchijin. Now I'm scared.

IT IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT. COMPLETELY.

This said, I started at Episode 21 and ended at Episode 22, but uh, those two were pure gold. And the main character, the guy who plays Kanetsugu, he's really adorable and chipperly earnest and even though he is a shounen protagonist, you find yourself hoping that he will succeed always. And his wife is amazing. :'D
