I learned this in Psych 111 back in the day because my prof loved to fill extra time with tiny tidbits of entertaining knowledge about the field. If I remember the main study correctly there is a video of it somewhere that shows test subjects were given pictures of two people one more attractive by conventional standards than the other then they were asked to Pick which a written story of one of their lives was about. Happy stories always went to the more attractive people while negative stories to the less attractive. It was interesting stuff.

I just have to pop in to say that I've heard about that study, and it is an interesting peek into a very curious part of people.

But mainly I wanted to say that I love your icon.
