One logic board later, we have a computer again. Thank goodness. We actually did pretty well without one, though I am more impressed with Jim's tolerance of not being connected -- I was able to check email (and Bookmooch, and had Google) at work at least. I think every autumn I fall more and more in love with it. Soon I think I might start wishing my summers away just to get to it faster. The food and spices, the changing leaves, their sweet smell of decay, that cool crisp wind that creeps up as you sit around a fire drinking cider. Gaah, I love it all ( ... )

Redwall is probably a bit advanced for him to be paying much attention to right now, but we are reading him Pooh and occasionally The Hobbit, so it probably isn't too far off from being something he can fall asleep to. :o) I should suggest that to Jim, actually... he's never read any of them, and would be a way for him to squeeze another book into his schedule! I am so glad for that series. Heals the scars of childhood neglect. :o ( ... )

P.S. Hey wow!! I just realized that your poem quote thingy "The woods are lovely..." That poem was on my English final in 10th grade! And the professor (heh, professor), the teacher said I was the only one that did a good analysis of it.

P.P.S. I got a new computer too!! Did I tell you? Er... actually, I think I did, so nevermind. But yay for functioning technology.
