I arrived back at the apartment today. It was empty. German's belongings had been removed from the room. It seemed so desolate. I realized then something that I had known was coming for a long time. I miss my best friend.

Life is going to be very different now.

Well, I talked a lot about it in a journal entry a week ago, but the short version is that I'm single, living with my parents again, and I have far fewer friends than I used to.

Even back in the day, if I was lonely, I could go on AIM and make myself feel less lonely than I was... but who gets on AIM anymore?
