We're still best friends, still as close as ever. He's going to be "weird uncle Kurt" and tutor my future children in math. It's not the easiest thing in the world, but we agree that it's the only way for each of us to have the future that we feel we need.

I posted on FB about this. I know that you will be a great mom someday. Please, never compromise your dream of becoming a parent. No matter how much this hurts you now, you are following your dreams, and that is the best thing you can do.
