Back yard is slowly improving (front is not), we get to secretly borrow the neighbor's dog everyday to play with Barney, packing is slow but steady so that we never really miss things but they're tucked safely away.

First of all, thank you so much, f-list, for all of your kind words following my last entry. I really appreciate it. Things will be fine. I'm not sure what will happen, but we'll come out of it okay, whatever it is.

Again for you So Cal folks...

Anyone have baby gates that they want to get rid of? We need a way to keep barney out of the bathroom but still let the cats in, and we don't want to go out and buy brand new baby gates if there's a way to get them for free/keep used ones out of a landfill.

That weekend was not long enough!!!!! I know I say that all the time, but really, it whizzed by at hitherto unknown speeds!
