I've been in the realm of funk myself lately. Life has been stagnant for the last four years, but the sad part is that there is no end in sight. I wish things would either start getting better or just end. I never was, nor ever see myself being a suicidal person, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy if life came to an end. What is the point in going on when there is no joy, no hope, no end to the misery? Do other people have worse situations than mine? You betcha! Are there people with more critical issues and problems? There sure are! The reality is though, we each have to be the person who lives our life. I think Belic put it ever so eloquently when he said: "Yup, in the grand scheme of things my problems aren't as bad as some peoples'. But I can't handle them, so....they might as well be."
