Damn, I feel useless. We lost Epona today. She was at the vet's sleeping peacfully and an hour later she is gone.
I'm on shock. Why. She was onlyn six months old, and she was healty, actve and freindly. So what took her away in four days. The vet is checking, hopihng for an answer, because I don't think I can stAND LOSING ANOTHER THIS WAY.

Been quiet. Not many probhlems. My new aqua-therphy program is helping me, but it is hard work. But rain finally arrived and we have a sick pony. Six months old and she is at the vet's with IV's in her and no idea what is wrong. She developed a bit of a limp, and then diarehea. Got to see the new doctor today. Nice man and someone who actually talked with me. What a relief. He did tell me that he thinks the damage to the leg is past anything that can be done. but is going to send me to see the specialist ( Read more... )

Aside from the arrival of Summer two weeks ago. Little changes. Leg just hurts. All the time. Think it is getting better and boom. Gets worse. Tired of this, Can't spend as much time as I want out with the horses. And could sure use some rain now. Been a few weeks and it's dog gone hot. Only anohter month or so of the real hot stuff. Feeling better. Out of sick person jail. Had to go and it helped, Hate to go. Leg is better but not cured at all. Still hurts like hellm but I can walk again, 10 to 20 steps and give me a chair. Have to hope the mass on my kidney is not the c word, Just what I need, another problem

I am writing this for silvermane by proxy. He is in the hospital now. His leg became so bad he could no longer get around. As for how long and what will be done I am not sure yet but I will post here when I have more details.

What can I say. It was and still is. On a good note, DH did help as he cleaned my room for me, I have become so disabled that simple housework is almost impossible for me. Cooking used to be fun.
