Steak craving is now sated. I am now sated.

I have been craving a steak for days now. A pan fried steak, that I can run the slices of meat through the juice left behind. A medium rare steak that delights my body and soul. I am a carnivore at heart.

My 5 month old nephew is in the ICU. He is fighting a bacterial infection. Keep him in your prayers. I'm worried that his parents are not mature enough to handle the situation. My mom's utility bills are unpaid and my sister calls me to let me know so I can pay them. My husband is dealing with grieving the loss of his mother. Seriously, wtf ( Read more... )

Crampy...and strange day at the work site. One of the students I was working with felt suicidal and I drove her to the hospital. Needless to say, I imbibed in the pedicure (my first) my colleague gave me. I now have red toe nails. I don't know what to think of them. I feel pretty and flamboyant. Hah! Will I do it again? But having moments of insecurity. Maybe I am not really cut out to teach classes or do leadership stuff. The idea of a regular 9-5 job where I do not have to deal with this self doubt sounds appealing. I could have nights with my children. What a concept.

Had a liver biopsy yesterday and slept most of the day. I've not taken that many drugs in about a decade. It's amazing when you're normal, what one Adavan (sp?) can do to you.
