Slow start to the day...
The bike wouldn't start this morning. Loose connection on the battery. It's in the garage charging now. In the meantime I thought I'd write - work on an idea for a short story I'd had at work yesterday but I'd only sent half my notes home - bugger. It's a new type of work for me. I popped into Antics today to buy the airbrush compressor. Still need a linking hose to the compressor from the Aztek. But still it only cost me £60. It was actually £79 on their website and according to the stock computer but with a price ticket of £60 on it in the shop they decided (quite correctly) that they had to sell it for tat price. Discovery of the century
My bikes tool roll has been known to hold many tool type items over its lifetime and the occasional pair of thin waterproofs for 'the British Summer Time'. Tonight I made the startling great discovery that the tool roll on the front of the XV will hold a bottle of JD. -
Tales of an XV1100 #1
Today I have completed a small and insignificant 20something dream. I have purchased a Tombstone Taillight which will be mounted on the replacement XV1100 rear fender. I've just spent the last 5 minutes checking it over and adding the custom grill I bought for it at the same time ( Read more... ) -

The weekend was taken up with celebrating darqmann's birthday on Saturday ad gardening on Sunday. The birthday celebrations included lunch at a mexican restaurant where I suprised people by eating native and then into the cinema to see Watchmen. What can I say of the movie?
