Percocet for Pain

I'm not sure if anyone out there has had Percocet before, or its generic friend, oxycodone. Interestingly, I don't think it actually takes away pain. At least not for me. It just makes me groggy and only half aware of my pain. Yesterday I think I took close to . . . hrm . . . 8-10 pills? as prescribed. Today, so far, about 2 total. But since ( Read more... )

I had both of those too! ... and some morphine... but not all at the same time. But yeah - I don't know - like, Percocet took away the pain in the sense of I felt sleepy rather than in pain. I slept so much, but it was nice. Much better than having to be awake for it all.
P.S. - I wish I had sent you those flowers... alas, I cannot find your mailing addy.

hehe I'm glad I'm not the only one with this experience! I think I am trying to kick the habit though today. Haven't taken a pill in 14 hours or so.

it's 6519 Debold Rd Sabillasville MD 21780 for the next 5 days, then on Tuesday back to 8107 Eastern Ave Apt D509 Silver Spring MD 20910.

Turns out char sent the flowers :) daww!

I totally had that reaction to it when I got my wisdom teeth out... after 2 days I refused to take it anymore lol

I remember only taking it the first day for the wisdom teeth as well :)

I dunno vicodin is oxycodene, isn't it? and that stuff wacks me up but good! Try writing or doing art while you're on it. Totally lewis carrol.

i have absolutely no idea! i can't write or art while on my meds, because i literally fall asleep within like 30 minutes and hover on the edge of consciousness otherwise. i only write/draw better/more creatively when at a certain level of tipsy
