Went to a lecture on Tom Wintringham and a music event by the International Brigades Memorial Association last night - excellent. More commemorative stuff today. In the Romanesque church of St Foy in Sélestat/Schlettstadt in Alsace in the 1890s, an 11C burial was uncovered - either the foundress Lady Hildegarde or her daughter Adelheid.
