I've been wanting to post here for a while, but haven't. Why?

Largely because I'm only over here skimming, myself, lately.

This is mostly due to not finding anything to READ over here.

I blame the Internet society's increasing ADD. :/

I feel bad for having neglected my journal like this, but I swear I have nothing interesting to say anymore. Facebook and Twitter have come along and changed the landscape. Plus, LJ is not the same LJ we once knew. It's now littered with ads and spam and other annoyances. Facebook used to be almost more interesting and functional for me, but they're slowly selling it to the highest application bidder and rendering it impossible to use due to information overload. And Twitter IS the definition of ADD.

I sort of feel the same way... it's been a long time in the building, though. :) I don't have any ads or anything on my pages so it doesn't intrude on me that way.

FB.. I dunno. It's fluff. *shrug*

Twitter, as much as it would seem like a good fit for me, I've just not gotten into. It seems like a great setup for people with more connectivity - phones, laptops, whatever. I have none of these (although I am again considering getting a cell, I doubt it'll happen due to cost. There is NO WAY I can even think of affording 'net capabilities at all, even text is a bit of a stretch. :( )

So... what to do now? :/
