Ooh, you have Mistborn? How is it? I've heard a lot about it. Way of Kings, by the same author, is fantastic, by the way. It ought to go on your list of books to buy. Yes, yes. I'm dying to have someone to geek about it with. Since Husby only just started reading it and can be a killjoy sometimes, even if he likes something. >.>
The Mistborn Trilogy is epic. So is Elantris. I wouldn't call it my favorite or anything, but it definitely needs reading.
And ffft I have to read Way of the Kings for Faye-Faye too. He's my fantasy books geek out friend.
Totally know how the killjoy thing goes. >> I love Koppah, he loves One Piece. But every time he starts bitching about things he doesn't like in One Piece I just get all ":| -_-' ..... k." and he gets mad that I'm ignoring the complaints :| :| >> *COUGH*
/look who's just WAY too lazy to switch accounts XD
We're all killjoys in our own ways. ^_^ At least Husby is getting to be better about not just complaining about things he dislikes, but has actually realized that if he tempers it with comments about the things that he likes a lot, I don't scowl at him and tell him he's ruining things quite as often. Sometimes you just have to be very clear that it's ok to dislike certain aspects of a story, but please for the love of all things good, focus on something NOT NEGATIVE once in awhile so people can know that you actually enjoy things too. Heh.
