• First trip here (to Chicago) for interview: plane was delayed for 3-4 hours
• Driving here to move in: traffic was the worst it's been (I haven't hit traffic even remotely close to that since).
• Flying back from New Jersey: plan was delayed for at least 3 hours
• Driving back from the U.P.: Ended up taking 3 hours longer because of a detour
